BloxwapAgent CLI

Development

Build, type-check, and contribute to the CLI and docs workspace.

Use Node.js 24 or newer and npm. One lockfile installs the CLI in packages/agent-cli and the Fumadocs app in apps/docs.

npm ci
npm run build
npm run lint
npm run typecheck
npm run typecheck:tsc
npm test
npm run docs:build
npm run docs:check
npm run docs:check:tsc

Type checking uses tsrs, the Rust port of the TypeScript 7 compiler, pinned to 0.18.0-ts7.1.0-dev.20260929. The shared packages/agent-cli/scripts/tsc-or-tsrs.mjs wrapper resolves its native binary on macOS arm64 (Apple Silicon) and Linux x64/arm64, including glibc and musl. Windows and Intel Macs automatically use the installed TypeScript ^7.0.2 fallback; missing native binaries also fall back to tsc. The lockfile also retains TypeScript 6.0.3 for tsup and typescript-eslint peers that need the JavaScript compiler API; workspace fallback checks use TypeScript 7.0.2.

Use npm run typecheck:tsc for the CLI and npm run docs:check:tsc for docs to select tsc explicitly. Setting TYPECHECK=tsc also forces the wrapper to use tsc, including during npm run docs:build.

The CLI build continues to bundle with tsup/esbuild; tsrs only checks types here. Docs builds run next typegen and the wrapper with --noEmit before next build. typescript.ignoreBuildErrors skips Next's duplicate type check, so use the npm build script to keep the explicit check in the build path.

Run npm run docs:dev for http://localhost:3903, or npm run docs:preview after a static build. Generated command and skill pages come from npm run docs:generate and are refreshed before docs builds. Edit their sources in the CLI rather than the generated pages.

Before committing, build, lint, type-check, and run the offline unit tests. Tests mock Hyperliquid, Privy, and Relay and must never contact live services. Keep secrets out of commits. Local state always lives under ~/.bloxwap and uses the BLOXWAP_ environment prefix. Record issue progress in docs/PROGRESS.md.

CI checks tsrs and the tsc fallback on Linux and macOS arm64. Docs CI builds and checks the static export before deployment.
